You can update your software when the latest version
is available on the web site.
Updating the software will allow you to use the software with the latest
features.
To update your software, follow the procedure below.
Description:
Here is the description of the operation in OLYMPUS Master
Plus Ver. 1.0.

Caution:
To update the software, you should meet the following
conditions:
– Your computer is connected to the internet.
– You have logged on as a user with the administrator’s
privileges (for Windows XP/2000 or Mac OS X).

Please follow the
steps below:

Click the [Browse
Images] icon on the OLYMPUS Master main menu.
- From the [Online Service] menu in the [Browse]
window, select [Update Software].
Please click [Online Service] button
in the toolbar located at the top of the window, and select
[ Update Software ] from the pull-down menu.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to access
the OLYMPUS server.
When connected to the server, [Update
Software] dialog box appears.

Tips:
If there are update programs available for
download, the list of update programs is displayed in the
dialog box. |
- Select the update program to be applied, and
click [Update].
Tips:
If you want to check the contents of update program
before downloading, select the update program to apply, and
then click [Details]. A web
browser launches, and the details about the firmware are displayed. |
- When the software license agreement is displayed,
read the license agreement, and click [Agree].
The selected update program is downloaded.
When the download is complete, OLYMPUS Master shuts down, and the
installer of update program launches.
All procedure is complete.
