The installation process
will follow the installation summary below. Be sure to read
the on-screen instructions during the update. |

1. |
Download the Firmware Update
Software |
|
| |
|
After accepting the license agreement, please
download the file to your PC. |
|
| |
2. |
Update the Firmware |
|
| |
|
Double-click on the downloaded file. The firmware
update process will begin. |
|
| |
3. |
Connect to your computer |
|
| |
|
Connect the cradle to the computer using the
bundled USB cable, and place your MR-100 in its cradle. |
|
| |
4. |
Synchronize between MR-100
and m:trip |
|
| |
|
Please follow the on-screen instructions to
synchronize between MR-100 and m:trip.

If you
use without synchronizing, management data may not
be updated. Be sure to synchronize MR-100 and m:trip. |
|
|
| |
5. |
Transfer the new firmware
into MR-100 |
|
| |
|
A firmware update comfirmation
dialog window will appear. To follow the procedure on the
screen, firmware updater is transferred to MR-100. |
|
| |
6. |
Remove the USB
cable from the computer |
|
| |
|
After removing the USB cable from the computer,
MR-100 will automatically begin updating the firmware.

DO NOT
disconnect the AC adapter while the firmware is updating
automatically. |

7. |
Confirm the update
was successful |
| |
|
Please follow the on-screen instructions
to make sure of the new firmware version. |

Any user ("User") is deemed to have acknowledged

deemed to be fully executed by and between the User and

Olympus shall grant to User a non-exclusive and non-transferable
license to use the Software and the copy thereof (hereinafter,
the copy of the Software are included in the Software) only
for the purpose of applying to the Olympus products which

To make any copy of the Software, whether in whole or
in part, for any other purpose than back-up purpose. |

To change, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble
the Software, whether in whole or in part. |

To rent, lease or sublicense the Software, whether in
whole or in part. |

(5) |
To export the Software, directly or indirectly, whether
in whole or in part, without obtaining necessary approvals
of relevant governmental authority in Japan or in any relevant
country. |

Any right, title or interest in and to the Software
shall be owned by or vested to Olympus or its licensor respectively. |

4. |
USER ACKNOWLEGDES AND UNDERSTANDS THAT THE SOFTWARE
IS PROVIDED TO USER ON AN "AS-IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY
OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT
NOT LIMITED TO: |

WARRANTIES FOR MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR FITNESS FOR A USER'S
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. |

IN NO EVENT SHALL OLYMPUS BE LIABLE NOR RESPONSIBLE
FOR ANY DAMAGES SUFFERED OR INCURRED BY USER OR ANY OTHER
THIRD PARTY (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, GENERAL, SPECIAL,
DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL LOSS OR DAMAGES
INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS

ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE. |

If User fails in complying with any terms and
conditions under this Agreement, Olympus may terminate this
Agreement and seek to remedy for any loss or damage, including
damages for loss of business profit, business interpretation,
loss of business information and the like) or loss of profit
incurred by Olympus, arising out of or in connection with
such User's failure. In such event, User shall immediately
destroy or return to Olympus any and all copies thereof,
whether in whole or in part. |
